6 Month - Financial Accountant - Immediate Start

Your new company
This established Australian business is looking for a Financial Accountant to join its team. Supporting a large and complex operation, you'll work across financial reporting, reconciliations and period-end activities while partnering with stakeholders across the business.
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Lead, you will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
Your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing journals, accruals and prepayments
- Supporting month-end activities
- Assisting with balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting
- Processing and reconciling intercompany transactions
- Assisting with system improvements
- Contributing to cash flow reporting and other finance projects as required

What you'll need to succeed

- CA or CPA qualification, or be working towards completion
- Experience in financial accounting and reporting




- Robust understanding of month-end processes and reconciliations
- Exposure to intercompany accounting and general ledger activities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical capability
- Experience within construction or a related industry will be highly regarded
