Company Background

Our client is an established purpose-led organisation with a national presence in the entertainment industry sector, supporting a broad network of stakeholders through a range of professional services, programs and operational support.

The Role

Reporting to the CFO, your duties as Financial Accountant will include but are not limited to:

- Month-end reporting across 1-3 entities, including journals,



prepayments and budget journals
- Reviewing and supporting work completed by the Assistant Accountant
- Fortnightly payroll for approximately 40-50 full time, part-time and casual employees
- Balance sheet reconciliations, BAS, FBT and tax preparation support
- Supporting the budget process, grant invoicing and audit preparation
- Working with Xero to improve reporting accuracy and process discipline

Your Background

To be considered for this Financial Accountant role, you will ideally meet most of the following criteria:

- 5 years’ experience in a Financial Accountant role
- Xero experience will be highly regarded
- CA or CPA qualification preferred, but not essential
- Hands-on approach, strong attention to detail and comfort working in a small finance team
