Role Description

This part-time on-site General Practitioner role is based in Kurnell, NSW. The General Practitioner will provide primary care consultations, including history-taking, physical examinations, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions for patients of all ages. Responsibilities include ordering and interpreting investigations, prescribing medications, providing preventive health advice, and coordinating care with nursing staff and allied health professionals. The role involves maintaining accurate clinical records, contributing to care plans, participating in case discussions,



and supporting practice quality improvement initiatives. The General Practitioner will also offer patient education, follow-up care, and referrals to specialist services as needed, while upholding ethical and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated clinical expertise in Medicine and Primary Care, with a strong focus on evidence-based practice.
- Experience or training in Family Medicine, including care for patients across the life span.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Nursing staff and other healthcare professionals in a team-based environment.
- Commitment to ongoing Training and professional development to maintain and enhance clinical skills.
- Current medical degree and full registration (or eligibility for registration) with the relevant medical board in Australia.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a respectful and inclusive approach to diverse patient populations.
- Strong clinical documentation skills and familiarity with electronic medical record systems.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and provide reliable, compassionate patient care in a busy practice setting.
