Our client is a well-established commercial painting contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality projects across Queensland. Working alongside many of the state's leading builders, they specialise in large-scale commercial developments and have built a strong reputation through quality workmanship, long-term client relationships and a collaborative team culture.

As the Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders across a range of commercial painting projects. Working closely with Directors, Project Managers, Site Supervisors and clients, you'll play a key role in securing new work while supporting the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare accurate cost estimates, take-offs and tender submissions for commercial painting projects.
- Review drawings, specifications and contract documentation to determine project scope.
- Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and clients to obtain pricing and clarify project requirements.
- Identify project risks and develop practical, cost-effective pricing solutions.
- Maintain estimating templates, databases and pricing schedules.




- Support project teams by monitoring actual costs against estimates and improving future pricing accuracy.
- Contribute to strategic pricing decisions and business development opportunities.

About You

- Previous experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator within commercial painting or the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of commercial construction methodology, coatings and painting systems.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines.
- Robust communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience using estimating software and Microsoft Office.
- Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline are advantageous.
- Knowledge of Queensland construction and safety requirements.
