Structural Designer - All Levels

Location: Brisbane, QLD

Role Opportunity
Join a leading engineering and project delivery environment supporting a diverse portfolio of mineral processing and resource sector projects. This opportunity will see you contribute to projects across various stages of development, from concept studies through to detailed engineering.
Working as part of an established multidisciplinary design team, you'll be involved throughout the full project lifecycle with a strong focus on structural design. The role is suited to Structural Designers at all levels, from experienced designers through to senior and principal-level professionals with strong Advance Steel capability.

Essential Qualifications & Skills
• Experience within mining, minerals processing or heavy industry projects
• Strong proficiency using Advance Steel software
• Experience delivering projects from concept design through to detailed engineering
• Ability to convert engineering concepts into practical 3D designs
• Understanding of relevant Australian standards




• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
• AutoCAD 2D experience highly regarded
• Diploma in Engineering or similar qualification preferred but not essential

Duties & Responsibilities
• Develop structural designs from engineering concepts through to detailed design
• Produce accurate 3D models and design documentation using Advance Steel
• Prepare and review structural design deliverables for quality and accuracy
• Ensure designs comply with project specifications and industry standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams across project phases
• Support the delivery of mineral processing and resource sector projects
• Contribute to design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality and project outcomes
