Our fast paced dental surgery in South West Sydney - Bonnyrigg requires an energetic, enthusiastic, confident dental nurse/assistant.

We have a friendly dynamic at our practice which provides a great working environment, so we are looking for someone who fits in well with our current team and culture.

DENTAL ASSISTANT/RECEPTIONIST:

- Attention to detail when cleaning - very important due to chances of cross contamination and infection control.

- Chair side assisting dentists and OHT/Hygienist

- Sterilisation of instruments

- Interpersonal skills with being able to greet and communicate with patients

- Polite, well-mannered

- Be able to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced workplace

- Dealing with patient inquiries

- Reception duties include answering phone calls, booking and billing patients.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE YOU MUST;

- Be punctual and organised

- Excellent presentation

- Have basic computer knowledge

- Have great interpersonal skills with a friendly attitude

- Comfortably work independently and in a team environment

- Be confident both in person and on the phone





- Be able to work efficiently without supervision

- Have initiative and self motivation

- Be honest and trustworthy

- Be willing to learn new things and take instruction

- Flexible and willing to work on a rotating roster

- Fast learner

No experience in the dental field is necessary, although it is welcomed. All training will be provided at the surgery for the right candidate.

Hours and shifts will range from Monday - Friday 9am to 6pm as well as Saturday 8am to 12pm.

We are ideally looking for someone who is available to work Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Please note that the roster is updated and changed every two weeks, so flexibility with shifts is preferred. Please include the days you are available to work on your resume or cover letter.
