Queensland’s infrastructure market is entering a major delivery phase, with solid investment across roads, rail, urban renewal, utilities, active transport and enabling works. We are seeking experienced Civil Site Engineers and Civil Project Engineers to support the successful delivery of complex urban infrastructure and transport infrastructure projects across Queensland.

This is an opportunity to join project teams delivering meaningful civil infrastructure outcomes in live, high-interface environments where safety, quality, program performance and stakeholder coordination are critical.

The opportunities

Working closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Supervisors, subcontractors and client representatives, you will help plan, coordinate and drive construction activities across civil works packages. Depending on your experience, you may be responsible for site engineering support, short-term planning, cost tracking, quality documentation, subcontractor coordination, technical problem solving and broader project delivery leadership.

Typical responsibilities

· Support the delivery of civil construction works across roads, pavements, drainage, earthworks, structures, services relocations, utilities, rail interfaces, streetscapes and urban infrastructure packages.

· Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and site teams to maintain safe, productive and quality-focused delivery.

· Prepare and maintain ITPs, SWMS, RFIs, technical queries, site records, progress claims, cost reports and project documentation.

· Monitor program, productivity, quantities, quality outcomes and construction progress against project requirements.

· Assist with procurement, forecasting, variations, scope management and commercial reporting.

· Work collaboratively with clients, designers,



authorities, community/stakeholder teams and project partners to resolve site issues and manage interfaces.

· Champion safety, environmental compliance and practical constructability solutions in live urban and transport environments.

About you

· Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

· Experience in civil construction project delivery, ideally across transport infrastructure, urban infrastructure, roads, rail, utilities, drainage, structures, subdivisions or public realm works.

· Strong understanding of site-based delivery, quality systems, safety processes and construction documentation.

· Ability to work in fast-moving project environments with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.

· Confident communication skills and a practical, solutions-focused approach.

· Experience with TMR, local government, rail, alliance, D&C; or major contractor environments will be highly regarded.

· RPEQ, Engineers Australia membership, project management training or relevant site tickets will be viewed favourably but are not essential for all roles.

· Permanent Residency required
