We are a specialist contractor delivering bespoke packages of work across the Urban Development sector, and we are looking for a motivated Site Engineer to join our team on a full-time, office-based basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working across the full project lifecycle and wants exposure to design coordination, project delivery, contract administration, tendering, programming and construction.

As our business continues to grow, you will play an significant role in supporting the successful delivery of multiple projects while working closely with our experienced project, construction, estimating, drafting and manufacturing teams.

About the Role

The Site Engineer will be responsible for coordinating and managing key technical and project documentation across projects from pre-contract through to delivery and maintenance.

You will work closely with internal teams, design consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors to ensure projects are properly documented, coordinated and progressing in accordance with project requirements.
The role will include:

- Coordinating design consultants and managing design inputs.
- Reviewing internal shop drawings and ensuring designs are suitable for project delivery.
- Programming key documentation throughout the pre-contract and project delivery phases.
- Managing and maintaining project documentation, including soil reports, structural drawings, project specifications and other technical records.
- Ensuring documentation is properly procured, recorded and maintained through the pre-contract, delivery and maintenance phases.
- Supporting project teams with technical coordination and construction-related matters.
- Assisting with project programming, scheduling and resource planning.




- Coordinating multiple projects concurrently — managing a workload of approximately 12 projects in the delivery phase at any one time is common.
- Working collaboratively with Project Managers, Superintendents, Site Supervisors, Estimators, Drafters, Construction Coordinators and other members of the wider business.
- Contributing to continuous improvement as the business grows and develops.

About You

We are looking for an engineer who is organised, technically capable and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
You will ideally have:

- Relevant engineering qualifications and/or practical experience in civil, structural or construction engineering.
- Contractor-side experience is highly desirable and, ideally, a must.



Client-side experience within a developer environment will also be considered for the right candidate.
- Experience coordinating consultants, drawings and technical documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to document control.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
- An understanding of construction processes, project delivery and contractor environments.
- The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a broader project team.

Desirable Experience

Experience in the following areas would be highly regarded:

- DTMR experience, particularly structures.
- Experience with the approval of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and construction procedures.
- Experience with procurement procedures, vendors and supplier approvals.
- Experience working for a reputable head contractor.
- Familiarity with DTMR processes, documentation and project requirements.
- Structural or civil construction experience within an urban development environment.
