At Curiosity Tree Early Education, we're growing — and we're looking for an Area/Portfolio Manager to lead a portfolio of our centres, support and develop our Centre Managers, and help shape the future of our organisation.

? Position Details

• Full Time — Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week with flexibility, reporting to the General Manager

• Competitive salary package well above award, plus superannuation

• Regular travel required across Curiosity Tree centres within South East Queensland

? What You Bring





• Diploma (or higher) qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care

• Demonstrated experience as an Area Manager or in an equivalent multi-site leadership role within the ECEC sector

• Extensive knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Law, National Regulations, EYLF and ECEC professional standards

• Proven experience developing Centre Managers and building high-performing leadership teams

• Strong operational, financial and performance management capability

• Current Working with Children Clearance (Blue Card), Police Check, Child Safety Training, and First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Emergency Asthma qualifications

• A current driver's licence and the ability to travel regularly across Curiosity Tree services within South East Queensland

• Leading, mentoring and developing Centre Managers to deliver high-performing, compliant and sustainable services

• Driving performance, accountability and continuous improvement across your portfolio through structured reporting and regular check-ins

• Supporting Centre Managers to maintain compliance with the National Quality Framework, National Law and Regulations, and strong NQS outcomes

• Overseeing rostering,



payroll and financial performance across the network to ensure services remain operationally sound and sustainable

• Championing child safety, risk management and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across every centre

• Building strong relationships with families, communities and stakeholders, and partnering with People & Culture, Quality & Compliance, Facilities and Finance teams to support the portfolio's success
