Your new role:

Join the Neurology Outpatient Department at Princess Alexandra Hospital as a Clinical Nurse Consultant specialising in Movement Disorders. You'll provide advanced clinical expertise and leadership across a specialist service supporting patients with complex neurological conditions, including Parkinson's disease, essential tremor, dystonia and other movement disorders.

In this role, you will:

- Provide advanced clinical leadership, consultancy and person-centred care across the Movement Disorders specialty.
- Collaborate with neurologists, Nurse Navigators, nursing, allied health and broader multidisciplinary teams to coordinate high-quality care.
- Lead education, mentoring, quality improvement, research and service development initiatives that enhance patient outcomes and contemporary nursing practice.

About you:

You are an experienced Registered Nurse with advanced clinical knowledge and a passion for specialist neurology nursing. You bring strong clinical judgement, leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence practice, support colleagues and work collaboratively across healthcare services. Your commitment to evidence-based, person-centred care will be central to your success in this role.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

- Advanced clinical knowledge, skills and experience in neurology nursing,



with an interest or commitment to Movement Disorders.
- Robust clinical leadership, critical thinking, decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, education and mentoring skills across multidisciplinary teams.

The Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) is a tertiary health care centre providing care in most major adult specialties.



We provide world class health care to Brisbane City's southern suburbs across emergency, medical, mental health and surgical services, including liver and kidney transplant.

We are nationally recognised for our expertise in trauma management and organ transplants and are one of Australia's leading academic and research health centres. The PAH as a major medical research precinct hosts Australia's most advanced medical research facility, the Translational Research Institute (TRI) as well as a new Clinical Research Facility for the discoveries made at TRI to be trialed in a safe clinical environment.
