We are working with an established Sydney-based multidisciplinary professional services group within a dynamic corporate and commercial legal team.

The role
This role offers high-quality work across M&A;, equity capital markets, ASX-listed company matters, and broader corporate advisory. You'll be involved in drafting and negotiating complex agreements, advising on Corporations Act issues, and supporting end-to-end corporate transactions including share sales, joint ventures, and restructures.

Reporting directly to the Solicitor Director, this is a hands-on role with strong client exposure in a rapid-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

- Corporate advisory (including Corporations Act, assisting with general meetings and other corporate transactions, such as buy backs, financial assistance, etc)
- Reviewing and negotiating contracts
- Drafting agreements and other legal documents
- Prepare and effectively communicate advice to clients in relation to substantial corporate transactions including contractual, legal and commercial issues,



pre-signing negotiations
- Liaising with other lawyers, clients, ASIC and the ASX
- Ensuring compliance with all laws, policies and procedures as are applicable to each matter

About you

- 3+ years' post-admission experience in corporate/commercial law
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commercial acumen
- Experience with ASX-listed companies and the ASX listing rules (ideally but not essential)
