Drive Allied Health Innovation & Digital Transformation

Lead a major digital transformation across Metro South Health, bringing your advanced allied health expertise, project leadership and clinical insight to the uplift of patient meal management systems. Work across multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions that improve workflows, support staff and enhance patient outcomes! Temporary 10 month full time opportunity!

About your role

As the Principal Allied Health Project Officer, you'll play a key role in the Metro South Health Patient Meals Management System (PMMS) Uplift Project, supporting the transition from existing Illumia Nutrition Service Suite and Food Service Suite systems to a contemporary cloud-based solution. Working across Metro South Health hospitals and satellite facilities, you'll combine advanced allied health knowledge with project management, clinical consultancy and change leadership to deliver complex digital transformation initiatives.

You will:

- Lead complex project activities across planning, design, configuration, testing and implementation.
- Provide expert clinical and food service advice to support effective digital solutions.
- Analyse workflows, data and service requirements to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support data cleansing, migration, business continuity and transition planning.
- Lead change management activities, including go-live and post-implementation support.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop high-quality project documentation, reports, briefs and stakeholder communications.

About you





We're looking for an experienced allied health qualified who can combine clinical expertise, strategic thinking and project leadership to deliver meaningful change in a complex health environment. You'll be confident working across skilled boundaries, engaging stakeholders at all levels and translating clinical requirements into practical digital solutions.

You will bring:

- Advanced knowledge of contemporary allied health clinical service delivery.
- Experience leading complex projects, service planning or redesign initiatives.
- Strong clinical reasoning and evidence-based decision-making skills.
- Highly developed stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Proven ability to negotiate, manage conflict and influence outcomes.
- A tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics and eligibility for the Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) credential.
