Your new role

As the Finance Lead, you will provide strategic financial leadership and oversee a small finance team supporting a complex and fast-paced program environment. Working closely with senior executives and program managers, you will drive sound financial management and governance outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:

- Leading a small finance team responsible for budget and financial management activities
- Providing strategic financial advice to executives and program leaders
- Managing complex program budgets, forecasting and financial reporting
- Supporting management accounting and project accounting functions
- Developing financial governance frameworks, policies and procedures
- Delivering financial insights to support executive and governance committee decision-making
- Managing asset-related financial activities and reporting
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed

- Must have NV1 Security Clearance

- CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent postgraduate accounting qualification)




- Extensive experience managing large and complex budgets
- Strong management accounting and financial advisory experience
- Experience leading and developing finance teams
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Advanced financial analysis and reporting capability

Nice to have

- Capital asset management experience
- Project accounting experience within large transformation programs
- Experience supporting executive-level governance and decision-making
