Established in 1994, Pilbara Meta Maya Regional Aboriginal Corporation (PMMRAC) is a not-for-profit organisation committed to delivering essential services to remote Aboriginal communities across the Pilbara, Gascoyne, and Mid-West regions of Western Australia. For over 20 years, we have provided reliable Power, Water, and Wastewater services, while maintaining and upgrading critical infrastructure to support community well-being.
More Than Just Plumbing
We're looking for an experienced Plumber - Water & Wastewater to join our Water Services team supporting remote Aboriginal communities across Western Australia.
This is more than another maintenance role.
Use your trade skills where they matter most, helping maintain the water and wastewater infrastructure that remote communities rely on every day.
Working in a small crew alongside an Electrician, you'll maintain, repair and upgrade critical water, wastewater and treatment systems across some of the most unique and rewarding locations in Western Australia.

Key Duties
- Maintain, repair and install water and wastewater infrastructure
- Mains water reticulation repairs and upgrades
- Underground pipework installation and maintenance (PVC, ABS and poly)
- Backflow prevention, water metering and compliance works
- Sewer reticulation and pumping station maintenance
- Reverse osmosis, chlorination and water treatment systems
- Operate excavators, skid steers and other civil equipment
- Fault finding, diagnostics and emergency repairs
We're Interested In Plumbers with Experience In:
- Water reticulation and mains repairs
- Backflow prevention and water metering
- Underground pipework and civil works
- Sewer reticulation and pump stations
- Water treatment, chlorination or reverse osmosis systems (an advantage)
- Remote, utilities or infrastructure maintenance environments
About You
- Trade qualified Plumber
- Current WA Plumbing Licence (or ability to obtain)
- Current HR Class Driver's Licence
- Current First Aid, CPR/ LVR
- Positive attitude and ability to work well in a small crew
- A good road trip companion with a sense of humour
- Ability to work autonomously in remote locations
- Strong problem-solving, communication and computer skills (SIMPRO experience desirable)
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
