About the Role

Fantasy Caravan is looking for a reliable, hands-on Caravan Assembler to join our Pakenham team.

Our caravans arrive from the factory largely completed, so this role is mainly focused on final assembly, quality checking and minor rectification work before the caravan is ready for delivery.

Most assembly work is straightforward bolts, nuts, fittings and adjustments using normal hand and power tools.

You do not need to be a qualified mechanic, and caravan experience is not essential. If you are practical, willing to learn and take pride in doing things properly, we can train you.

What You'll Be Doing

- Assist with unloading caravans from shipping containers

- Complete basic final assembly and bolt-on fitting work

- Carry out QA / Pre-Delivery Inspection checks

- Identify anything that needs adjustment or attention

- Complete basic repairs and rectification where required

- Use hand and power tools

- Follow simple checklists and job sheets

- Make sure caravans are finished and ready for customer delivery

This is not heavy manual labour. Caravans are moved using the correct equipment and team support.

What We're Looking For

- Confident using hand and power tools

- Basic mechanical or practical skills





- Good attention to detail

- Able to identify and fix simple problems

- Reliable and punctual

- Comfortable working in a small team

- Willing to learn new skills

- Australian work rights

Experience in any of the following would be highly regarded:

- Automotive

- Trailers

- Caravan or RV

- Mechanical work

- Assembly or manufacturing

- Trade assistant

- Maintenance or general workshop work

A forklift licence is an advantage but not essential.

No caravan experience? That's fine.
