Our client is a well known and trusted brand who have grown significantly over the past few years to be a market leader. We are partnering to source an excellent Financial Accountant to join the team on a 12 month contract, starting ASAP.

Reporting to the CFO, your main responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

● Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes and payments
● Work with the planning team to improve credit limits, payment terms and discounts to positively impact cashflow and margins
● Run the daily and weekly sales reporting and commentary
● Own the month-end and year-end close process including balance sheet
reconciliations
● Prepare timely, accurate monthly financial reports and analysis, and help pull
together performance reporting for leadership.
● Support the budgeting and forecasting process and help hold departments
accountable to their numbers.
● Prepare compliance reporting including BAS, PAYG, Payroll,



Superannuation
Payroll Tax and WorkCover
● Help maintain and continuously improve the internal control workplace, including policies and processes
● Support the yearly audit, working closely with our external accountants and
advisors
● Prepare data analysis to support commercial decisions
● Identify opportunities to improve processes and reporting and data accuracy

The successful candidate will have:

- Working towards CA or CPA
- 5 - 7 Years experience in accounting, ideally within the retail or ecommerce industry
- Strong understanding of accounting standards and principles
- Experience running end to end Accounts Payable
