KU Wentworthville is a welcoming preschool with a proud history of providing quality early childhood education and care to children and families in the local community.
The service provides a warm, inclusive and engaging learning environment where children are supported to develop confidence, curiosity and a strong sense of belonging. Educators work closely with families and the broader community to provide meaningful learning experiences that reflect KU’s values and commitment to children’s safety, wellbeing and participation.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced and ECT qualified Director to lead KU Wentworthville on a permanent full time basis.
This is an opportunity to lead a dedicated preschool team, guide high-quality pedagogy and practice, and build strong relationships with children, families, educators and the local community. You will bring sound pedagogical knowledge, confident leadership and experience in supporting service operations, mentoring educators, daily routines, policy implementation and continuous improvement.

You will have:
- Australian working rights
- At least 2 years of previous directing experience
- A current NSW Working with Children Check
- An ACECQA recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree
- Completed Child Protection Training, National Child Safety Training as well as demonstrated understanding of current child safe practices
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates along with current separate approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates
- NESA Teacher Accreditation
- Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
- Working knowledge of the National Quality Standards (NQS) and Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
