We are a successful not for profit aged care provider, offering comprehensive range of services from residential aged care, independent retirement living, home support and home care services.

We currently have permanent shifts available for an experienced Food Services Assistant to support our Residential Aged Care facility in the Barossa Valley.

The opportunity:

As a Food Services Assistant, you will be responsible for the service, presentation and delivery of meals to residents, as well as supporting the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation of kitchen. This may include maintaining kitchen equipment in all aspects of cleanliness and hygiene, food storage, and cleaning.

Responsibilities:

- Support and assist kitchen operations.

- Food preparation, and delivery to residents.

- Provide high-quality food service, following shift routine and dietary plans.

- Ensuring optimum food hygiene standards.

- Dishwashing and other cleaning duties as required.

Essential Criteria:





- Experience in a similar role.

- Food Safety Certificate or willingness to obtain one

- Nationally Coordinated Police Clearance no older than 12 months at appointment.

- Participate in annual mandatory Influenza program.
