Position Overview
As an SMSF Senior or Supervisor, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of a technically complex SMSF portfolio.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing approximately 150 SMSF funds
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients, partners and managers
- Reviewing SMSF compliance work completed by junior and offshore staff
- Managing workflow, deadlines and service delivery across the portfolio
- Supporting and mentoring a junior/graduate team member
- Escalating complex technical matters to senior leadership where required
- Building strong client relationships and maintaining high service standards





The portfolio is technically demanding, so this role suits someone who enjoys more complex SMSF work rather than high-volume, straightforward compliance.

Requirements

- 4+ years' experience in SMSF accounting within public practice
- Strong experience managing complex SMSF funds
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a MUST
- Confidence dealing directly with clients and senior stakeholders
- Experience with BGL360 highly regarded
- SMSF qualification preferred
- CA qualification is not essential
- Strong organisational and workflow management skills
