The Opportunity

Join VAE as a Mechanical Service Technician. We’re looking for hands-on tradesmen and women with experience in HVAC, air conditioning, refrigeration or mechanical services who enjoy fault finding, solving problems, looking after customers, and take pride in doing positive work.

You will work across an established customer portfolio from hospitals, office blocks, residential towers, to commercially occupied buildings right across Brisbane. If you demonstrate solid experience in a similar role and demonstrate excellent communication and organisation skills as a technician, we would love to hear from you.

What you will be doing (includes, but is not limited to)

- Conduct regular maintenance and inspections on HVAC&R; equipment
- Diagnosis and repairs to commercial refrigeration and air conditioning equipment
- Provide great customer service to our clients through quality work and recommendations
- Maintain detailed job notes and provide progress updates to the team
- Collaborate with the broader team, from service admin to fellow technicians and apprentices
