About the role
The role of the Asset Accountant is to support the Senior Asset Accountant in developing and maintaining efficient and effective asset services to stakeholders serviced by West Moreton Hospital and Health Service (West Moreton) while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, approved policies and procedures.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Ability to investigate, collate information and provide possible solutions to a supervisor in relation to financial accounting and administration matters to contribute to enhanced financial outcomes.
- Demonstrated sound level oral and written communication skills including the ability to liaise, inform and interact with staff and external stakeholders about financial accounting and administration matters.
- Ability to work as part of team and under pressure to meet prescribed deadlines.
- Ability to use financial information systems, such as SAP S/4HANA and other enterprise wide systems/databases such as DSS Necto as well as the Microsoft Office applications associated with the provision of financial services, especially Excel.
- Commitment to undertake responsibilities in accordance with Queensland Health's core values of caring for people, leadership, respect and integrity.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
