This is a busy, hands-on role in a small NFP structure, you'll need to be just as comfortable with day-to-day implementation as you are shaping strategy.
We're looking for someone who can connect people to purpose and demonstrate the impact of giving in meaningful and compelling ways. It's a rare prospect to work across the full spectrum of fundraising,
from our major donors to grassroots storytelling, while helping to shape a more compassionate future for Byron Bay.

- Regularly evaluate & adapt engagement strategies to ensure fundraising targets are met
- Establish, nurture and sustain strong relationships with major donors, philanthropic foundations and corporate partners

- Work with department managers to launch new fundraising streams including opportunities for the Byron Theatre & Byron Community Centre itself.
- Assist with community fundraising events, partner initiatives and grassroots campaigns
- Monitor campaign performance and prepare reports on fundraising outcomes
- Act as the organisation's representative, advocating for its mission and fostering growth and collaboration opportunities
*Note: grant management,
application and acquittal is led by another team member; this role is focused on relationship fundraising and partnerships.
Selection Criteria
- Exceptional relationship-building skills with a focus on donor and stakeholder engagement
