Project Manager - Water Infrastructure
6-Month Contract | Brisbane | Competitive Hourly Rate | PAYG or Pty Ltd

Lead the delivery of a major Water Infrastructure project with a national contractor.
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a leading national, environmentally focused services business on an initial 6-month contract, overseeing the delivery of a recently awarded Water Infrastructure project in Brisbane.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a talented team of engineers, designers and project professionals delivering specialist engineering solutions across Water and Wastewater. Reporting directly to the Project Director, you will take responsibility for the project from start-up and implementation through to final handover, providing strong leadership across all day-to-day project management activities.

The Opportunity

As Project Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of the project, working closely with internal teams, clients, contractors, engineers and designers.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading the project from mobilisation and start-up through to completion and final handover.
- Managing the day-to-day delivery of the project, ensuring programme, cost, quality, safety and performance objectives are achieved.
- Coordinating engineering, design, procurement, construction and project delivery activities.
- Managing project schedules, budgets, resources, risks and commercial requirements.
- Providing clear project reporting and communication to the Project Director and key stakeholders.
- Managing client, contractor and supplier relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identifying and proactively managing project risks, issues and opportunities.
- Leading project meetings and driving accountability across the project team.
- Ensuring project documentation, quality requirements and compliance obligations are effectively managed.
- Working collaboratively with a highly capable team of engineers,



designers and technical specialists to deliver a successful project outcome.

About You

We are looking to speak with experienced Project Management Professionals who have a strong track record delivering complex infrastructure projects.
Ideally, you will have:

- A Mechanical or Civil Engineering degree.
- Proven experience managing the delivery of complex infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated end-to-end Project Management experience, from project start-up through to handover.
- Ideally, experience within Water Infrastructure, Water Treatment, Resource Recovery or a related workplace.
- Strong commercial, programme, risk and stakeholder management capabilities.
- The ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams and work effectively with engineering and design functions.
- Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- A practical, delivery-focused approach with the ability to take ownership and drive outcomes.
