Commercial Fitout Carpenter

Job Overview
As a Commercial Carpenter you will be responsible for constructing interior fit-out and commercial refurbishment works. This includes plasterboard partitions, aluminium frames, doors and hardware, ceilings and bulkheads and other associated works.

We are searching for a highly skilled and motivated commercial carpenter. IRM Group is a family owned business which has run for over 30 years. Qualifications & experience

- Minimum 5 years proven experience in commercial carpentry, particularly office fitouts and building refurbishment works.

- Valid White Card/Construction Induction Card

- Must possess own reliable tools,



a current drivers licence and have access to a vehicle to carry personal tools.

- Physical stamina and the ability to perform demanding tasks and work at heights.

- Must have unrestricted work rights in Australia

- Strong experience with both carpentry and finishing work.

- Ability to interpret architectural drawings and specifications.

- Excellent problem-solving skills, especially with respect to on-site challenges.

- Knowledge of building techniques, codes and safety standards.

- Good communication and teamwork skills.

- All commercial aluminium suites

- Metal stud partitioning

- Suspended ceilings

- Aluminium and MDF doors

- General carpentry

- Rostered Days Off for workers who opt for this (RDO). Rate is based on a 38 hour paid working week (40 on-site) and includes a paid monthly RDO.
