About Respect Generations Early Learning
Respect Generations Early Learning is a not-for-profit early childhood education and care service providing high-quality education and care for children from infancy through to kindergarten.
Our service is co-located with Chaffey House, providing a wonderful opportunity to embed robust intergenerational practices into our everyday program. Children regularly connect and build meaningful relationships with older community members through shared experiences, activities and visits.
Our educational program extends well beyond the classroom. Children have opportunities to participate in experiences including Bush Kinder, music programs and intergenerational activities, supporting connection, confidence, curiosity and a strong sense of belonging.
We pride ourselves on creating an environment where children, families and educators feel welcomed, valued and connected to their community.
About the Role
We are seeking casual Certificate III and Diploma qualified Early Childhood Educators who can work flexibly across our service.
As a casual educator, you will work collaboratively with our experienced team to provide safe, nurturing and engaging learning environments where every child can learn, grow and thrive.
In this role, you will:
- Support the delivery of high-quality, play-based early childhood education and care.
- Build warm, respectful and responsive relationships with children and families.
- Contribute to educational programs guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF)
and National Quality Standard (NQS).
- Support children's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.
- Work collaboratively with educators, teachers and service leadership.
- Participate in our unique programs and experiences, including Bush Kinder, music and intergenerational activities.
- Maintain safe, inclusive and engaging environments where every child is supported to participate and belong.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to child safety and the Victorian Child Safe Standards.
About You
We would love to hear from educators who are enthusiastic, reliable and genuinely passionate about working with children.
You will ideally have:
- An ACECQA-approved Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or be actively working towards an approved qualification.
- A current Working with Children Check.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications, or willingness to obtain/update these as required.
- Knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards and approved learning frameworks.
- An understanding of the Victorian Child Safe Standards and your responsibilities as an early childhood professional.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- A positive, flexible and professional approach to working across different rooms and age groups.
