Casino & District Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced Operating Theatre Nurse to join its surgical team on a contract basis. This is a six-week minimum engagement starting 17 August, offering the opportunity to work in a busy operating theatre environment at AUD45.00 to AUD60.00 per hour. The successful candidate will bring established theatre nursing expertise and a commitment to supporting safe, efficient surgical care.

Preferred Requirements

- Demonstrated operating theatre nursing experience in a hospital setting




- Strong knowledge of theatre protocols, instrument management, and surgical safety standards
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary surgical team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills in a fast-paced environment
- Current understanding of infection control and theatre-specific compliance requirements

Preferred Qualifications

- Registered Nurse qualification with current AHPRA registration
- Post-registration qualification or recognised experience in perioperative nursing
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
