Grafton Base Hospital & Health Service is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join its Emergency Department Short Stay Unit on a contract basis. This is a short-term opportunity running from 31 August for a minimum of six weeks, with three positions available. Based at the Grafton facility, the role offers a competitive hourly rate of AUD$45.00 to AUD$60.00, providing an ideal opportunity to contribute to a busy emergency department while gaining valuable experience in a short-stay model.

Preferred Requirements





- Current Australian Triage Scale certification and demonstrated triage experience
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification current and valid
- Proven experience working in-charge or in a leadership capacity within an emergency department
- Solid clinical assessment skills and the ability to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across the multidisciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia
- Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated experience in emergency nursing
- Additional certifications in emergency or critical care nursing are advantageous
