Lismore Base Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the C7 Stroke/Medical ward on a contract basis. This is a short-term chance starting 31 August, with a minimum commitment of four weeks. Based at the hospital in Lismore, the role offers a competitive hourly rate of AUD$45.00 to AUD$60.00, providing an ideal opportunity to gain experience in a busy stroke and medical unit while supporting a dedicated clinical team.

- Work in a specialist stroke and medical ward with exposure to acute patient care and recovery pathways
- AUD$45.00 to AUD$60.00 per hour, contract position from 31 August for a minimum of four weeks
- Based at Lismore Base Hospital, supporting a collaborative nursing team in a regional healthcare setting

Preferred Requirements





- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Experience working in acute medical or stroke care environments
- Strong clinical assessment and patient communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility and reliability in a fast-paced ward setting

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification with current AHPRA registration
- Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated experience in stroke nursing or medical nursing
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
