The Opportunity:

- Full-Time | Ongoing contract of employment.
- PW3 $64,076 - $69,189 per annum pro rata + 12% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience).
- Chadstone Campus – onsite parking with close proximity to public transport.

Holmesglen’s Property Services Division (PSD) keeps our campuses safe, functional and looking their best every day. The team looks after day-to-day maintenance, cleaning, buildings, facilities and grounds across Holmesglen’s campuses, responding to faults, carrying out planned works and helping make sure our sites are ready for students, staff and visitors.

PSD also supports the long-term upkeep of Holmesglen’s buildings and infrastructure, helping ensure our assets are properly maintained, upgraded and kept in good working order.

This is a practical, hands-on maintenance role where you’ll help keep Holmesglen’s buildings and facilities running smoothly. You’ll carry out general building maintenance, respond to faults and work requests, complete planned maintenance activities and help keep workshops, equipment and facilities safe and well maintained.

You’ll also work closely with the Facilities Manager,



Assistant Facilities Manager and external contractors to coordinate repairs and maintenance works and make sure jobs are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. If you’re reliable, practical, safety-focused and enjoy getting stuck into a range of maintenance jobs, this is a great opportunity to join a busy Property Services team.

As a Maintenance Officer, you will:

- Carry out a range of general building and facilities maintenance across Holmesglen campuses, following required safety, legislative and regulatory standards.
- Respond to maintenance requests and work with staff, contractors and service providers to coordinate routine and urgent repairs.
- Inspect building conditions, identify maintenance needs and organise work requests for action.
- Assist with scheduled building and facilities audits.
- Process and allocate maintenance jobs, following up works to ensure they are completed and signed off to a high standard.

To be successful, you’ll have:

- Certificate III or higher in a relevant building trade and relevant work experience.
- Level 2 First Aid Certificate.
- Valid and current full Victorian driver’s licence.
- Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety requirements including manual handling techniques, working at heights and high risk permits in a construction environment.
- Experience in a maintenance department or handy person role including maintenance of relevant equipment and property management.

WWCC and Police Check:





Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Victorian ‘employee’ Working with Children Check, and a valid Police Check within the last 12 months.
