Senior Associate (Corporate Banking Middle Office) | Bank of China Sydney

Bank of China is seeking an energetic and highly motivated Senior Associate to join our Corporate Banking Middle Office team in Sydney. This is a fantastic prospect to play a key role in risk management, portfolio governance, and green finance innovation within a leading global financial institution.

This is a two-year term contract, with strong potential to convert to an ongoing role upon successful completion.

Key Responsibilities:

- Administrate corporate business line group customer management, group customer credit limit approvals, post-lending management, and incident reporting
- Support the manager in overall coordinate and management on the credit risk, operational risk, market risk and counterparty credit risk within department
- Assist the manager in functioning as the first line of defense for AML risk mitigation, compliance oversight, and customer compliant handling




- Assist the manager to integrate AML and compliance obligations throughout departmental policies and business activities
- Administrate data quality management for corporate business line
- Complete ad hoc tasks assigned by the manager

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

- A minimum of 3 years' experience in banking, with a preference for corporate or institutional banking backgrounds
- A tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
- Basic knowledge of corporate lending, AML risk management, or corporate financial advisory is preferred
- Understanding of market information and relevant regulatory requirements
- Good analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, in English and Mandarin
- A proactive attitude with strong willingness to learn and develop within the team
