The role
At GPT, The Senior FP&A; Manager role sits at the very centre of how the business understands its financial performance and shapes the story told to the CFO, Board and market. Working hand-in-hand with the Head of FP&A;, you will span the full breadth of the function, Group forecasting and budgeting, transaction and scenario analysis, and the performance insights that drive real decisions at the highest level.
You will play a defining role in building the FP&A; function of the future, leading the charge on AI and automation to continuously reimagine how the team works and the value it delivers.
What you will be doing
- Lead the centralisation mandate; set the team's purpose, work with the CFO Leadership Team to prioritise what moves into Financial Enablement and Operations, and lead the transition securing buy-in, managing resistance, and bringing stakeholders on the journey.
- Define the sourcing strategy, deciding what to retain, centralise, outsource or automate, accountable for provider relationships, contracts, and performance.
- Direct the AI and automation strategy across production and govern a maintained,
versioned AI library that becomes a genuine asset for finance.
- Establish and own the control environment; accountable for the Compliance Plan and GS007 assurance processes.
- Accountable for production output quality, the integrity of shared data and the financial system timetable.
- Hold the dotted line to the Head of Technology, driving ERP discussions and taking the lead on finance systems.
- Build and lead a high-performing Financial Enablement and Operations team, shaping its culture and capability as genuine pioneers of AI-enabled finance.
What makes you stand out
Ideally you will have deep finance leadership experience, a strong controls foundation and experience in driving operational transformation.
- Relevant degree (Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent) and CA/CPA qualification
- 10+ years across varied finance roles, including senior leadership positions.
- Experience establishing or leading shared services or centralised operations, including outsourced provider and contract management.
- A proven history of driving AI and automation adoption within a finance function
- Strong controls and assurance background, including Compliance Plans and GS007/ASAE 3402
- Change leadership experience with the ability to secure buy-in and navigate resistance.
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership skills
Systems experience across some or all of the following:
- SAP, Anaplan, Workiva, HFM/Oracle, Tableau
- AI and automation tools including Claude, Microsoft Copilot and Power Automate
