As Senior Manager - Parks and Natural Areas, you’ll lead a dedicated team and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure our services remain responsive, accessible and aligned with community needs. With over 230,000+ residents, your work will make a tangible difference.

You will lead the planning, delivery, maintenance, and continual improvement of Council's parks, reserves, playgrounds, sports facilities, and arboriculture services that enrich the lives of our community every day.
As Senior Manager - Parks and Natural Areas, you will lead high-performing teams, driving innovative service delivery and creating sustainable community outcomes.

Reporting directly to the Director Infrastructure,
the Senior Manager - Parks and Natural Areas will require exceptional leadership capability with proven success in asset management, customer-centric service delivery and budget management.
Remuneration & Benefits
An attractive Total Remuneration Package (TRP) will be negotiated with the successful candidate, inclusive of superannuation.
Council provides an prospect to access a vehicle via novated leasing.
As part of Council’s health and wellbeing program, you will receive executive health medical assessments, have access to Fitness Passport, employee assistance program, and annual flu shots.
Council has a strong commitment to ongoing learning and professional development. As part of the TRP, you will receive one annual membership to professional organisations relevant to the role.
In addition to you will receive 4 weeks annual and 2 weeks sick leave, 5 days MyLeave and you will also receive 10 days personal leave.
Council has an attractive Enterprise Agreement that also provides up to 26 weeks paid leave if you or someone in your care experience a major illness or accident, that requires leave beyond your available sick leave.
Council also supports growing families through generous Paid Parental Leave options including 14 weeks paid leave.
Council is also committed to an 8% pay increase over the next two years.
