About the role

Adelaide Volkswagen is currently South Australia's largest VW dealership. Due to continued growth we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Sales Manager to report to the General Sales Manager. Your role will be focussed on developing a outstanding team culture, meeting personal and team targets and assisting the team to deliver an exceptional customer experience every time while enhancing the reputation of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Leading the sales team by ensuring you meet your own and team targets

- Assist the General Sales Manager in supporting and coaching the sales team

- Maintain a strong knowledge of Volkswagen products and services

- Provide product training and skills development to the entire team

- Ensure cars are displayed to Volkswagen standards

- Act as General Sales Manager in their absence





- Assist in leading daily sales activities and maintain sales process compliance

Skills and Experience

- Proven leadership skills in Automotives are desirable

- Strong sales and commercial acumen

- Able to lead a team in ensuring exceptional customer service

- Strong communication skills

- Ability to organise and time manage yourself and the team

An Australian Drivers Licence is required for this role.

Due to the nature of our customer-centric environment, the successful applicant will be required to work Saturday's and to compensate for this time there will be a rostered day off during the week.

You will be provided ongoing training, including completing the Volkswagen Sales Manager pathway, and receive mentoring by some of the industry's most experienced and respected operators. This unique and exciting opportunity will allow for growth, development, and ongoing career advancement.
