JR Richards & Sons is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Casual Side Lift Driver to join our Picton team.

This role offers 3 to 4 days per week, with opportunities for additional hours during busy and peak seasonal periods. If you're looking for flexible work with a stable and growing organisation, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

As a Side Lift Driver, you will play an important role in servicing our local community by collecting residential waste and recycling. Working independently and as part of a small team, you'll ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently, and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate side lift collection vehicles safely and efficiently

- Complete domestic waste and recycling collection runs

- Follow run sheets and route mapping accurately

- Conduct daily vehicle safety checks

- Utilise basic computer systems and onboard technology

- Maintain a solid focus on safety, customer service, and environmental compliance

Previous experience in the waste industry is advantageous but not essential.

What We're Looking For

- Unrestricted HR Driver Licence

- Satisfactory RMS driving record

- Strong commitment to workplace safety





- Effective communication and customer service skills

- Reliable, self-motivated, and flexible attitude

- Ability to work independently and within a team

- Solution-focused approach to challenges
