State Manager – NSW
Workplace Rehabilitation | Leadership | Growth
Corporeal Health is continuing to grow, and we’re looking for an experienced and well-connected State Manager – NSW to help lead the next phase of our expansion on the East Coast.
This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role in building our NSW presence while leveraging an established brand, strong industry reputation and trusted partnerships.
We’re not looking for someone to simply manage an existing operation. We’re looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, developing people, creating opportunities and helping shape how a business grows.
At Corporeal Health, our team members are our highest priority. We pride ourselves on having less hierarchy, more autonomy, and greater wellness and purpose at work. Our full-time team members work a 9-day fortnight, receiving full-time pay while enjoying a long weekend every second week.
We believe sustainable growth comes from attracting great people, looking after them and consistently delivering high-quality services to our customers.
The Role
As State Manager – NSW, you will play a key role in growing and leading Corporeal Health’s workplace rehabilitation services across NSW.
Working closely with our broader leadership team, you will have significant autonomy to develop the NSW operation while being supported by established systems, national customer relationships, quality frameworks and a highly experienced team.
The role will include:
- Building and strengthening relationships with claims service providers, employers, brokers and other key industry partners.
- Identifying and developing opportunities to expand our services throughout NSW.
- Leading, mentoring and supporting the NSW team as it continues to grow.
- Recruiting high-quality people who align with our culture and approach to service delivery.
- Providing operational and technical leadership across workplace rehabilitation services.
- Maintaining high standards of customer service, quality and clinical practice.
- Working collaboratively with the broader leadership team to shape our East Coast growth strategy.
Importantly, this isn't a role built around layers of management or corporate hierarchy. We want someone who enjoys being close to their team, customers and the work itself.
Who You Are
You are an experienced workplace rehabilitation professional who understands both great service delivery and great relationships. You may have experience in senior leadership or national roles, but are looking for something you can take the reins of and make your own.
You have a strong reputation within the industry and enjoy developing genuine, long-term partnerships with customers and stakeholders.
You’re comfortable operating autonomously and are excited by the opportunity to help build something rather than simply inherit an established structure.
You are likely to:
- Have significant experience within workplace rehabilitation, injury management or a related compensable setting.
- Have strong knowledge of the NSW workers compensation environment.
- Have demonstrated leadership, mentoring or operational management experience.
- Be confident developing and maintaining relationships with insurers, employers and industry stakeholders.
- Have a tertiary allied health qualification such as Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy or Psychology, together with relevant professional accreditation.
- Understand what high-quality workplace rehabilitation looks like and be passionate about maintaining those standards as the business grows.
- Be commercially aware without losing sight of the people and outcomes behind the numbers.
- Enjoy having the autonomy to make decisions and influence the direction of the business.
Existing industry relationships and experience growing a team, service or customer portfolio would be highly regarded.
Just as importantly, we’re looking beyond your CV. We want someone who is genuine, capable, collaborative and aligned with the way we do business.
Why Corporeal Health?
We want this role to offer something different from the traditional State Manager position.
You’ll be joining an organisation with an established reputation and customer base, but with the opportunity to genuinely influence how our NSW business develops.
We offer:
- A genuine opportunity to build and lead our NSW operation.
- An established and trusted brand to take to market.
- Strong existing industry relationships and partnerships.
- Significant autonomy and the ability to influence strategy and direction.
- A highly experienced leadership and consulting team to support you.
- A workplace built around less hierarchy and greater trust.
- Full-time employment with a 9-day fortnight.
- Competitive remuneration and excellent employment conditions to share our wins.
- The opportunity to grow your own role as the NSW business expands.
We’re ambitious about growing Corporeal Health on the East Coast, but we’re equally focused on doing it the right way — maintaining the culture, quality and employment conditions that have helped build our reputation.
How to Apply
We’re not looking for a generic cover letter.
Instead, tell us:
- A little about yourself and your background.
- Why this opportunity interests you.
- What you think makes a great workplace rehabilitation business.
- What you would bring to our NSW growth that we shouldn’t miss out on.
- Anything else about you that you think we might find interesting.
