Our Service, Maintenance & Fit Out department works alongside some of Victoria's most respected property owners, facility managers, and body corporates — delivering maintenance, compliance work, infrastructure upgrades, fit outs, and technical services.

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a skilled A-Grade Electrician who is ready to take the next step in their career — moving off the tools and into a leadership role where your technical knowledge becomes your biggest asset.

The Role

This is the role for an experienced A-Grade Electrician who knows electrical service and maintenance work inside out — and is ready to lead a team rather than work in one. Conveniently located at our Oakleigh South office, you will take ownership of our service and maintenance division, overseeing a portfolio of property managers, owners' committees, builders, and commercial clients across Melbourne.

Day to day, you will coordinate service, maintenance, and fit out workflow across a diverse range of sites — retail premises, schools, aged care, and hospitality venues. You will still be close to the technical work, but your focus shifts to running the team, keeping clients happy, and making sure every job lands on time and on budget.





Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will have genuine support and mentorship as you grow into the role.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor, and support a small team of licensed electricians and apprentices across service, maintenance, and fit out work

- Coordinate and schedule planned and reactive jobs to make the best use of your team and resources

- Manage incoming service enquiries by phone and email, responding with speed and professionalism

- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key clients, attending sites and resolving escalated issues

- Scope, quote, and plan works, along with preparing maintenance agreements

- Manage suppliers and material orders for all service, maintenance, and fit out projects

- Monitor job costs, labour, and materials to deliver work on budget and protect margins

About You

You are an experienced A-Grade Electrician who is ready for more. You have been doing the work for years — you know service and maintenance inside out, you naturally take charge on site, and you find yourself mentoring others already. Now you want the title, the responsibility, and the career step that reflects where you are headed.



You do not need to have managed a team before — but you need to be ready to. If you are organised, technically strong, and good with people, we will back you to make this transition.

What you will need:

- A current Electrical Worker Licence (A-Grade) — Victoria

- Solid experience in electrical service and maintenance work (you know the job thoroughly)

- Some experience leading or supervising others on site — formal or informal

- Comfortable using a phone and computer to manage jobs — experience with SimPRO or ServiceM8 is a plus, not a must

- Comfortable quoting and scoping works — or a willingness to learn the commercial side with support

- Transparent communicator who can handle a client conversation professionally

- A current driver's licence
