About us
Daffodil Therapy and Care is a Gold Coast NDIS provider delivering high-quality, person-centred supports to participants across our community. As our support coordination service grows, we're creating a new leadership role to lift practice standards, develop our team, and keep our participants at the centre of everything we do.
About the role
This is a genuine dual role for someone who wants to lead without stepping away from the work they love. As Support Coordination Team Lead, you'll lead and develop our team of Support Coordinators while maintaining a base caseload of your own — keeping you current in practice and connected to the day-to-day realities of the service.
It's a role for a strong time manager who can move confidently between leadership responsibilities and hands-on coordination, setting priorities and holding to them across a busy week. You'll report to the General Manager and be based at our Ashmore office, with a mix of working-from-home and community time.
What you'll do
- Lead, support and develop a team of Support Coordinators
- Carry a base support coordination caseload, delivering quality supports aligned to participant NDIS goals
- Conduct staff PDRs, regular case reviews, and audits of file quality, program efficacy and staff performance
- Manage leave requests, performance management,
and work with management on any disciplinary matters
- Contribute to service development and have genuine input into policies and procedures
- Champion NDIS Practice Standards, compliance and person-centred practice across the team
What you'll bring
- Demonstrated experience in NDIS support coordination, with strong knowledge of the NDIS, Practice Standards and compliance requirements
- Leadership or supervisory experience, or the readiness and capability to step up into it
- Excellent time management and prioritisation — essential for balancing a dual role
- Strong communication, coaching and problem-solving skills
- A relevant qualification (e.g. bachelor or certificate-level in disability, social work, developmental education, welfare, occupational therapy or a related field) is highly regarded
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or Police Check under transitional rules), Working with Children Check, and completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Program and COVID-19 training
What's on offer
- A newly created leadership role you can help shape from the ground up
- Full time, 38 hours per week
- $45.00 per hour plus superannuation
- Office-based at Ashmore
- The chance to lift the standard of support coordination and make a real difference for participants and staff alike
