About the role:

We are seeking an Electrician to join our team in Port Augusta. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and commissioning locomotives and associated equipment, ensuring reliability and performance across our fleet.

Job tasks and responsibilities

- Provide electrical maintenance support for locomotives

- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs across locomotive systems

- Perform testing and commissioning activities

- Interpret and apply electrical drawings and schematics

- Identify and source required parts and materials

- Accurately complete all maintenance documentation

- Contribute to a safe, efficient, and team-focused workplace

Skills and experience:

- Current Electrical Licence

- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting capability





- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings

- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

- Hands-on team player with a proactive attitude

- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks

- Strong communication skills and a professional approach
