Tidda Workforce is proud to partner with leading infrastructure and maintenance teams across New South Wales. We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused MR Truck Driver to join a Transport for NSW maintenance crew based in Mittagong.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of driving and hands-on outdoor work, with the potential for an extension beyond the initial contract period.

ABOUT THE ROLE

? Location: Mittagong NSW
? Position: MR Truck Driver
? Start Date: ASAP
? End Date: 06/11/2026 (Potential Extension Available)
? Pay Rate: $44-$48.94 per hour
⏰ Hours: 8.5-hour days | 76 hours per fortnight
? Roster: 9-Day Fortnight
As part of a road maintenance crew, you will be responsible for operating the maintenance truck, transporting crew members and equipment between work locations, and assisting with various road and asset maintenance activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

✅ Operating and maintaining the maintenance truck safely and efficiently
✅ Transporting crew members, tools and materials to worksites
✅ Assisting with road maintenance and repair activities
✅ Road pavement repairs
✅ Pothole repairs and patching
✅ Guardrail repairs and maintenance
✅ Road sign installation and maintenance
✅ Guide post replacement
✅ Traffic control support




✅ Responding to maintenance call-outs
✅ General site housekeeping and rubbish collection
✅ Using hand tools, power tools and equipment safely
✅ Working effectively within a maintenance crew environment
✅ Following directions from the Team Leader at all times

ABOUT YOU

To be considered for this role, you must have:
✔️ Current MR Driver Licence (or higher)
✔️ White Card
✔️ WOF (Working on Foot)
✔️ Traffic Control Ticket (or willingness to obtain)
✔️ Experience operating trucks in a civil, maintenance, construction or infrastructure environment
✔️ Ability to undertake physical outdoor work
✔️ Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
✔️ Reliable transport and strong attendance record
