A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lawyer at the Senior Associate level (6+ years' PAE) to join a growing Environment & Sustainability practice group in the Sydney office of a leading global law firm.

This is a career-defining role for an ambitious Senior Associate looking to work on some of Australia's most significant environmental and climate change matters while helping shape the future of a rapidly expanding practice. Working directly with a highly regarded Partner, you'll advise major Australian and international clients across the full lifecycle of complex projects, while enjoying a transparent pathway for career progression within a supportive global firm.

The Opportunity:
Your focus will span a broad range of sophisticated matters including:

- Renewable energy, sustainability and ESG initiatives
- Environmental compliance and regulatory advice
- Biodiversity, land contamination and remediation matters
- Planning and environmental law advice for major developments and infrastructure projects
- Climate and sustainability governance advice for Boards and executive teams




- Environmental markets and major public infrastructure projects
- Litigation and advocacy across planning and environmental jurisdictions

About You:

- 6+ years' PAE in Planning & Environment law
- Current Australian Practicing Certificate
- Advocacy experience within environment & planning jurisdictions
- Strong drafting, technical and client relationship skills
- A commercial mindset and genuine interest in helping grow a thriving practice
