The Opportunity

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join our Finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in finance within a professional corporate environment. Working alongside an experienced and supportive Finance team, you will assist with the day-to-day financial operations of the business, with a primary focus on accounts receivable, while also having opportunities to gain exposure to accounts payable and broader finance administration functions.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the accounts receivable function by way of:

- Generating and issuing client invoices

- Processing payments and maintaining debtor accounts

- Monitoring outstanding balances, following up overdue payments, resolving account queries, and assisting with debt collection

- Responding promptly and professionally to finance-related enquiries from internal and external stakeholders.

- Processing supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.

- Maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with financial reporting.

- Supporting financial compliance and internal control processes.

- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and finance process enhancements.

About You

You are organised, reliable and eager to develop your career in finance.



You enjoy working with numbers, have excellent attention to detail, and take pride in producing accurate work. You are a proactive team player with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.

Skills and Experience

- Certificate IV, Diploma or higher qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline (or currently studying), or equivalent practical experience.

- Previous experience in accounts receivable, accounts administration, bookkeeping, or a similar role.

- Experience using accounting software such as MYOB, Xero or similar.

- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.

- Strong organisational and time management skills

- High level of accuracy and attention to detail

- Sound written and verbal communication skills

- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
