Suncoast Christian College is a well-established pre-prep to Year 12 co-educational College of over 1000 students, situated on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.

We are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Secondary Teacher (Humanities / Business Studies) to join our team on a full-time fixed-term contract. This position will commence at the beginning of Term 4, 2026, and conclude at the end of Term 3, 2027.

The successful applicant will primarily teach Year 7-12 Business Studies throughout the duration of the contract, with the opportunity to teach other Humanities subjects as required. The final subject allocation will be determined according to the College's curriculum and staffing requirements and may include subjects within the applicant's areas of experience and expertise.

The successful candidate will:

- Support the College's Christian ethos, recognising each student's individual potential and fostering their development,
- Deliver engaging and effective Business Studies programs across Year 7-12, including planning, preparation, delivery and assessment aligned with the Australian Curriculum and QCAA requirements,
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills,
- Sound organisational, planning, and classroom management capabilities,
- Proven ability to build authentic and positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues,
- A passion for inspiring students and creating engaging learning experiences,
- A collaborative approach to teaching and professional practice,
- Support the College's commitment to high standards of teaching, learning and student well-being.

Skills and experience required:

- A genuine commitment to the vision, mission, and Christian values of the Suncoast Christian College,




- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills,
- Demonstrated experience teaching Humanities and Business studies
- Sound organisational and classroom management skills,
- Sound relationship building experience and the ability to connect authentically with students, parents and colleagues,
- Ability to inspire and engage students in a dynamic learning workplace,
- Current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration.
