JAX Tyres & Auto Gosford is looking for a motivated Apprentice Mechanic to join our team and start building a long-term career in automotive.

This is an chance to earn while you learn, gaining hands-on experience in a busy workshop while working alongside experienced technicians who will help you develop the skills and knowledge to become a qualified mechanic.

No previous workshop experience is required. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, a strong work ethic, and a genuine interest in cars and mechanical work.

What You'll Learn

As an Apprentice Mechanic, you'll gain hands-on experience across areas including:

- Vehicle servicing and routine maintenance

- Tyre fitting, balancing and rotation

- Wheel and tyre servicing

- Brake inspections and servicing

- Mechanical repairs

- Vehicle inspections and fault identification

- Workshop tools, equipment and safe work practices





- Basic automotive diagnostics

- Parts and stock handling

- Keeping a safe, clean and professional workshop

You'll progressively build your skills and knowledge as you work towards becoming a qualified motor mechanic.

We're Looking For Someone Who Is:

- Keen to build a long-term career as a mechanic

- Genuinely interested in cars and how they work

- Reliable, punctual and willing to learn

- Hands-on and practical

- Positive and comfortable working as part of a team

- Safety-conscious and prepared to get involved

- Hard-working and willing to take direction

- Available to work Saturdays rotating roster

- Holds a current driver's licence P1 or P2

No Experience? No Problem.
