Holmesglen is seeking Casual Electrical and Solar Trainers to join our team at our Moorabbin campus. We deliver high-quality apprenticeship, pre-apprenticeship, and renewable energy training, helping to develop the next generation of electrical trades professionals.
We are on the lookout for:
- A Grade qualified Electricians with current industry experience.
- Solar professionals with experience in PV and battery storage systems.
- Tradespeople who are passionate about mentoring apprentices and sharing their practical skills and industry knowledge.
About the Role
As a Casual Trainer, you will:
- Deliver practical,
hands-on training to apprentices and students.
- Share your industry experience and help students build job-ready skills.
- Support student learning in a protected, engaging, and inclusive environment.
- Contribute to training that reflects current industry standards and emerging technologies.
To be successful, you’ll have:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or equivalent.
- Relevant electrical trade qualification and current licences/registrations.
- Current industry experience in electrical/electrotechnology.
- Ability to deliver engaging, practical training to diverse learners.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Commitment to professional development and student success.
WWCC and Police Check
Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Victorian ‘employee’ Working with Children Check, and a valid Police Check within the last 12 months.
Solar industry experience is highly regarded, particularly in renewable energy technologies, PV systems, and battery storage.
