Test Managers are required to use their leadership skills and experience to ensure their teams deliver high quality ICT testing services.

The Test Manager manages and oversees testing activities within their team and reports outcomes, risks, and issues to their program test manager. They work closely with team members, clients and stakeholders managing relationships and ensuring that our services are delivery against client's goals and expectations.

This role spans all testing phases; however, the Test Manager's primary responsibility in this role is the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase, including the planning, coordination and oversight of UAT activities to ensure the solution meets business requirements and is fit for purpose prior to production release.

For this role, it is essential that you to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders while developing and maintaining a view of the enterprise's testing services.

- Ensure that project work is delivered with the intended results. When project work finishes, ensure appropriate closure, including delivering relevant reports.
- Plan work and allocate time according to emerging priorities, while adopting a flexible approach to changing priorities and escalating issues as required.
- Have a good knowledge and understanding of various platforms, tools and systems.

Responsibilities / Skills

- Assign responsibilities, provide direction,



leadership, and coaching, remove barriers, as needed, to enable direct reports to execute their roles and achieve objectives and goals.
- Lead, motivate and develop the Testing Team through day-to-day activities, facilitating the delivery of fully-tested, fit-for-purpose solutions and deliverables.
- Manage the testing lifecycle within project parameters, develop tasks, identify dependencies and risks, outline risk mitigations to ensure system quality, and obtain stakeholder support.
- Manage, define and plan test artefacts using appropriate tools, not limited to Test Estimation, Test Schedule, Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Execution Reports, Defect reports, and Test Summary Reports
- Manage a team of resources working on various projects with multiple deliverables, including planning, development, and executing testing activities.
- Tailor communication (both written and verbal) to meet the needs of particular audiences.
- Demonstrate ethical behaviour and integrity.
- Contribute to the enhancement of team culture and a positive workplace.
- Facilitate and actively participate in meetings for internal and external testing operations and external workshops.




- Have a demonstrated ability to adapt in a energetic environment, applying significant judgement.
- Initiate, build and maintain stakeholder relationships across the ICT division, with the business, and with operational areas, both internally and externally.

Technical skillset

- Microsoft D365 testing experience (highly considered).
- Azure DevOps experience including Test Plan module (highly considered).
- Functional and Integration API testing.
- Microsoft Fabric experience.
- International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) foundation level qualification or equivalent.
