The role
VU Online is seeking a highly organised Teaching Talent Coordinator to manage the recruitment, administration, coordination and continuous improvement of our remote teaching workforce for our fully online courses.
This role would suit someone with exceptional attention to detail and genuine aptitudes in process improvement, ensuring accuracy and coordination. Someone who takes pride in getting the details right and keeping complex, moving parts running smoothly. VU Online is in a scale-up phase, so we're looking for someone who's happy to roll up their sleeves, spot where a process isn't working, and take ownership of fixing it.
In this role,
you'll coordinate the recruitment administration of our remote teaching workforce from contracts and records through to training and stakeholder support while also playing a part in identifying great talent to join our courses. You'll bring strong critical thinking to how we work, questioning existing processes and building better ones, and you'll help foster a culture of continuous improvement across the team.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the recruitment lifecycle of remote contracted teachers who assist in the design and delivery of fully online Higher Education courses.
- Manage recruitment processes including posting job advertisements, conducting interviews, contract management and record keeping
- Identify opportunities for process improvement across recruitment, onboarding and contractor management whilst leading the implementation of better ways of working.
- Coordinate teacher training and resource materials and tracking completion.
- Work with our teachers to ensure they provide outstanding service to our Students, Learning Designers, Online Teaching Leads and Course Coordinators.
- Assistance with financial matters such as supplier creation, invoice payments and purchase order requests where required
Key selection criteria:
1. A Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
2.
Previous experience in Education and Online Education highly desired
3. At least 2 years' experience in a Recruitment administration, coordination or operations role
4. Demonstrated strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a track record of identifying and implementing process improvements.
5. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple administrative processes concurrently.
6. Strong oral and written communication skills, coupled with confident use of the Microsoft Office suite (including Word, Excel, OneNote and Outlook) and HRIS/ATS Systems.
