Civil Leading Hand - Canungra

We are seeking an experienced Civil Leading Hand to oversee a team of up to 15 labourers and operators on a large-scale residential subdivision project in Canungra.

You'll report directly to the Site Manager and lead the drainage, pipe and stormwater crew, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate a crew of up to 15 workers

Delegate tasks and monitor daily progress

Oversee pipe laying, drainage and stormwater works

Train and support team members

Conduct toolbox/safety talks

Complete daily work records

Monitor quality and ensure works meet project requirements

Work hands-on and operate machinery when required

About You

Proven experience leading teams of 5-20 civil workers/operators

Strong experience working on civil pipe crews





Solid understanding of pipe laying on residential subdivision projects

White Card

Driver's licence and own transport

Physically fit and comfortable working hands-on

Reliable and available Monday-Friday, 6:30am-5:00pm

Live within approximately 30 minutes of Canungra

Roller and/or Excavator tickets are highly desirable.

Pay & Opportunity

$47.14-$49.38/hr + penalties + $2.00/hr Leading Hand Allowance + $27.32 daily travel allowance.

This is a long-term prospect with approximately 2-3 years of work remaining on the current project. For the right leader, there is potential to transition into a permanent position, including a company vehicle.

No Working Holiday or Student Visas.
