We are looking for an experienced, friendly and reliable Barista / Café All-Rounder to join our team.

The successful applicant will be confident making high-quality coffee while also being happy to jump in and assist with all areas of the café during busy periods.

Key Responsibilities

Barista Duties

● Prepare high-quality espresso coffee, including coffees, long blacks, cappuccinos, lattes, flat whites and other beverages.

● Operate and maintain the coffee machine and grinder.

● Ensure consistency in coffee quality, presentation and speed.

● Set up and clean the coffee station before, during and after service.

● Prepare takeaway coffees and other hot and cold beverages.

● Monitor coffee, milk and other stock levels.

All-Rounder Duties

● Take customer orders and process EFTPOS/cash transactions.

● Provide friendly and qualified customer service.

● Assist with food preparation, plating and serving when required.

● Clear and clean tables.

● Wash dishes and maintain a clean kitchen and service area.

● Restock fridges, displays, takeaway packaging and café supplies.

● Assist with opening and closing duties.

● Keep the café clean, organised and presentable throughout the shift.

● Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.





● Perform other reasonable café duties as required.

What We Are Looking For

● Previous barista experience is preferred.

● Solid knowledge of espresso coffee and milk texturing.

● Good customer service and communication skills.

● Reliable, punctual and well-presented.

● Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced café environment.

● Team player with a positive attitude.

● Willing to help wherever needed — no job is too small.

● Able to work independently and take initiative.

● Good attention to cleanliness, hygiene and presentation.

● Weekend availability is preferred.

Staff Expectations

● Arrive 5–10 minutes before your scheduled start time, ready to begin work.

● Phones must be kept away during shifts unless required for work purposes.

● Maintain a qualified attitude and respectful communication with customers and team members.

● Follow café procedures for food safety, cleanliness and customer service.

● Support your team and stay productive throughout the shift.
