Post is COMO The Treasury’s city osteria, open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner seven days a week. Post takes its name from its location – the franking room of Perth’s original General Post Office in the State Buildings. Our evolving menu offers a contemporary take on classic Italian cuisine, guided by the best seasonal ingredients.

About the Role

As a Commis Chef at Post, you will support the kitchen team in preparing and presenting high-quality dishes that reflect our up-to-date Italian style. These roles are suited to chefs who are passionate about produce, eager to learn, and confident working in quick-paced, high-standard environments.

Key Responsibilities




Assisting senior chefs with food preparation and service across designated sections.
Preparing dishes using local and seasonal ingredients on a constantly evolving menu.
Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
Following recipes, techniques, and procedures as directed by senior chefs.
Demonstrating initiative, reliability, and a commitment to team culture.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidates will have:
A relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery.
Proven experience in either breakfast service or larder (depending on the position applied for).
Robust attention to detail and a passion for creating quality food.
The ability to follow direction and work collaboratively in a fast-paced team.
Full availability, including weekends.
