what duties can you expect to do in your apprenticeship?
Gain hands-on experience maintaining commercial gardens and landscapes.
Work alongside experienced horticulture and landscape professionals.
Learn planting, pruning, mulching, and weed control techniques.
Assist with turf, irrigation, and drainage maintenance.
Develop plant identification and plant care knowledge.
Safely use horticultural tools, equipment, and machinery.
Learn safe herbicide and pesticide application practices.
Complete a Certificate III in Parks and Gardens while earning on the job.
